DPT is a spend card that lets you use stablecoins like regular money anywhere Visa is accepted. You keep your balance in crypto or stablecoins, and when you make a purchase, the merchant is automatically paid in their local currency.
You’ll need to verify your identity with a valid government-issued ID and a quick selfie. You must be 18 or older and live in a country or region where the card is supported. Some locations may not be eligible due to local regulations.
Most everyday use is free. There are no monthly charges, and virtual cards come at $10 each. Physical card option is coming Q1 2026.
The main cost occurs when you spend in a currency different from your base one, where a small foreign exchange fee applies. Stablecoin withdrawals would also incur a small charge (0.1% + gas).
Start by downloading the DPT app and creating an account. Once you complete identity verification and add funds to your wallet, you can instantly activate a virtual card, which can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Physical card option is coming Q1 2026.
The DPT card currently supports USDC and USDT. When you make a payment, the merchant receives payment in fiat currency, determined by the BIN origin of your card. If the merchant settles in a different currency than your card’s default, standard network fees and FX charges may apply.
The DPT card works anywhere Visa is accepted — online, in-store, and worldwide. Certain countries or merchants may not be supported due to local regulations.
In most cases, verification is quick and completed within minutes. If additional checks are required, it can take up to 72 hours.
